Miss Chamoni is the owner/director at Rhythm Dance Center. She enjoys sharing her passion with each student at RDC. Miss Chamoni has performed with the Worcester Youth Ballet and the Bermuda Civic Ballet prior to earning her Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree in Dance Performance from the University of Hartford. She has been a member of the Cecchetti Council of America for 14 years and has been teaching for over 20 years at studios throughout Mass. RI and CT. She is mom to Aniena (17), Angelo(15), and Dacia (12).
Miss Jessica G.
Miss Jess G has nearly 20 years of experience teaching all ages and dance styles both at the recreational level and competitive level. She is a third grade ESL teacher in the Providence school district and mom to dancers, Ava (15), Anna (15), Sofia (17), and swimmer Joshua (18).
This is Miss Lauren's 11th year teaching at RDC. She is an absolute delight with the little ones~ you may also recognize her as summer camp director at Hidden Hills, or the kindergarten teacher at Wawaloam Elementary School! Miss Lauren began dance herself at a very young age, and keeps her classes current by attending local conventions when she is not working one of her many jobs. Her favorite dance discipline is tap!
Miss Ashley is a former competitive gymnast, competing both locally and regionally. With over 18 years of recreational and competitive gymnastics and dance experience, Miss Ashley brings a versatile and comprehensive teaching style to her acro and musical theater classes here at the studio. In addition, she regularly takes classes to continue to strengthen and expand her abilities. Miss Ashley is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Sport Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Western States and holds an undergraduate degree in Expressive Arts Therapy and Psychology from Lesley University.
At the age of eight her parents enrolled her at The Studio, A Dance and Performing Arts Center in Narragansett, where one of her many teachers was RDC owner, Miss. Chamoni. Heather went on to study dance at the college level at Slippery Rock University, graduating in May 2012 with a BA in Dance. While at college she both performed and choreographed for SRUDT, the Jazz/Tap concert, and the Senior Synthesis concerts. She stayed in Pittsburgh and began teaching at Richelle Lyn School of Dance, where she was able to teach many different styles, ages, and levels. Having recently moved back to Rhode Island she is excited to be teaching at Rhythm Dance Center.
Miss Allie is a graduate of Rhode Island College. She holds a bachelors in theater and a bachelors in dance performance. Miss Allie has choreographed and performed in several musicals since graduating. A teacher of numerous dance styles, she has done residences at both public and private high schools. She has performed with Barefoot Production Dance Company. Also, spent years dancing with Mystic Moves Company performing at the Coast Guard Academy and Dragons Egg. She hopes to soon get her masters in Theater.
This is Miss Meghan. She is currently a student at the University of Rhode Island and is majoring in kinesiology. Miss Meghan began taking dance class at the age of three and continues to dance throughout college. She has taken hip hop, tap, ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, and pointe. She hopes to keep dance a part of her life forever and give her students the same passion she has for dance.
Miss Jenn is our office manager and can answer any questions you may have. She is mom to dancers Ashley (21), Lizzie (18), Emily (16), and Otto (14).
Miss Ani is a Junior at Chariho Regional High School and is our receptionist and can help with any questions you may have.
Miss Maryna is a Sophmore at High School and is our receptionist and can help with any questions you may have.
Mister A.J. is a Sophmore at Chariho Regional High School and is our greeter and can help with any questions you may have.
